Overview
Sussi & Chuma is an intimate and exclusive retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life located on the Zambezi River, named after David Livingstone's faithful companions and consist of an intimate lodge and two exclusive houses, both of which are situated to make the most of the amazing views that the sweeping Zambezi River provides.

Guest accommodation consists of 12 luxury tree-houses, built into the living canopy of majestic ebony trees lining the bank. Each tree-house has a private view of the Zambezi from its own deck among the branches. The main lodge building features a spectacular raised bar /lounge deck, open air dining area, curio shop and swimming pool sweeping down to the water's edge. Revitalising spa treatments are also available. The exclusive houses offer 2 en-suite bedrooms, one double room with a bath and an outdoor shower and one twin room with a bath and indoor shower, a spacious lounge and dining room area, kitchenette, outdoor deck, barbeque area and private plunge pool. Guests have their own private chef to cook all meals.

Activities offered at the lodge include, game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where you can see a variety of game, including white rhino, elephant, buffalo and giraffe. Tours of the incredible Victoria Falls, a World Heritage Site, are a must as they give guests an opportunity to experience one of the 7 great natural wonders of the world. Livingstone's reputation as the adventure capital of Africa is richly deserved and guests have a wide range of activities on offer, such as, bungi jumping, white water rafting, horseback safaris, elephant back safaris and helicopter flights over Victoria Falls. These activities are at an additional cost, bookings essential.
