Overview
Puku Ridge Camp is situated in a remote wildlife rich area in the South Luangwa National Park. Named for the elusive Puku antelope that inhabits the Kakumbi Dambo (floodplain), which the camp overlooks, Puku Ridge Camp is built on a hillside, providing stunning vistas of the floodplain and the wildlife that frequents it.

Puku Ridge Camp is small and intimate and has been constructed to blend into the local surroundings. The camp offers 6 luxury oversized tents with a wrap around view of the floodplains. Each of the comfortably furnished tents boasts en-suite facilities which provides the option of taking a shower with the sun on your shoulders. All tents feature an indoor and outdoor shower; three-quarter or king size beds, mosquito nets, private deck, ceiling fan and hairdryer. Tea / coffee is brought to the rooms each morning

Wildlife to be seen includes elephant, lion, wild dog, buffalo and a wide variety of antelope in addition to endemic species such as the Thornicroft's giraffe and Cooksons wildebeest. This is also an excellent area for leopards. Full range of game drives and night drives in the South Luangwa National Park are available using open 4X4 vehicles driven by knowledgeable guides. The emphasis in this area is the wonderful opportunities for walking safaris and night drives.
