Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:
On arrival into Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to House of Waine. This is an 11-bedroomed boutique hotel in Karen, a suburb of Nairobi, renowned for fine decor & it's quiet location. Within the surrounding gardens there is a heated swimming pool. It is closely located to the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park, Daphne Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage etc.

Day 2:
You will be collected at 06.15 and transferred to Wilson Airport for the 08.15 scheduled SafariLink flight to Amboseli. You will be collected from the airstrip and taken to Tortilis camp, where you will be greeted by the overpowering beauty of Africa's largest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tortilis Camp consists of 17 traditional en-suite tents with spacious verandas. There is also a family suite made up of one double and one twin room and a shared sitting and dining area. Activities include game drives, bush meals, sundowners and cultural visits.

Day 4:
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your SafariLink scheduled flight, departing at 09.05 to Wilson, where you will connect with the scheduled SafariLink flight at 10.00 to the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara offers a true wildlife experience, one that is hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world. You can stay at any of the following: Cottars 1920's, with its elegant style white tents and traditional luxury; Saruni's intimate cottages with luxurious interiors and Italian fittings; Richard's Camp is a traditional tented camp in true safari style with modern surprises or Elephant Pepper Camp, which brings you back to nature, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the bush. The activities available include game drives, breakfasts out on the savannah, sundowners and guided bush walks.

Day 7:
After breakfast and an early morning game drive you will be transferred to the airstrip to meet the SafariLink flight to Wilson Airport, departing at 11.00, arriving at 12.15. You will connect with the 13.45 SafariLink flight to Lamu. On arrival in Lamu at 15.30, you will be greeted by a Manda Bay representative and transferred by boat to Manda Bay. The boat ride is approximately 20 minutes. Manda Island is an unspoiled island of the Lamu archipelago. Here your options include relaxation, water sports, and pampering. Manda Bay has 16 cottages located on miles of uninhabited beach, all in keeping with the local landscape, all with ceiling fans, en-suite bathrooms and veranda's overlooking the ocean. The activities are endless and include water-skiing, windsurfing and deep sea fishing. For those that prefer a less energetic holiday, board Manda Bay's private 60 ft Utamaduni dhow and let the dhow's sails unfold and sail you off to some of the best snorkelling in the area. Manda Bay offers its guests the freshest catch straight from the sea; fresh crab, prawns, lobster and calamari.

Day 10:
You will spend the morning relaxing, walking, soaking up the sun or getting one last water-ski, before you head to the airstrip to connect with the 16.00 SafariLink flight to Nairobi. On arrival at 18.00, a Cheli & Peacock representative will transfer you to your Nairobi Hotel or to the international airport for your journey home.

Manda Bay is located on the North-Western tip of Manda Island, one of the many unspoilt, idyllic islands to be found in the romantic Lamu archipelago. It lies in calm inshore waters on a long sandy protected beach. With miles of soft white sand, fascinating creeks and small islets to explore, it makes a perfect retreat for both family groups and honeymooners alike. For centuries this has been a calling point for the Arab dhow traders - a safe haven where time stands still and nature is allowed to take its natural course without the interference of the modern world. With 12 cottages flawlessly designed and in keeping with local landscape, five of the rooms are set right along the seafront with the other rooms set in-between and slightly behind.
